Challenge 93: Favorite Song: ‘Alaska’ by Maggie Rogers One of the first times I heard this song, I was driving down the highway. When it came to the lyric "and I walked off you/and I walked off an old me" this profound sense of clarity, freedom and sadness washed over me, because of the extreme relevancy the song has to my own life, as of late. Challenge 93: Favorite Song: Mika

Lately, with all of the crap going on in the world—US and abroad—I can really appreciate working through the muck and finding small bits of positivity and hope. Mika has been a long favorite of mine for his crazy vocals and wonderfully playful, poppy music. This piece was inspired by his songs of hard times and persevering through them. I couldn’t agree more with his lyric; we should all strive to find a small amount of love for one another. With that, I hope you enjoy the piece and Happy Pride!

Challenge 93: Favorite Song: Me Gustas Tu

One of my favorite songs is Me Gustas Tu by Manu Chao. To practice animating some more, I put the lyrics to the music, using metamorphosis transition techniques - all hand drawn, using photoshop. Let  me know what you all think so far! Annelise

Challenge 93: Favorite Song

For the next challenge I'd like for everyone to pick a favorite song they're inspired by lately- can be a new or long time fav- and do a piece off of that. I know a long time ago I was very inspired by music and would like to get back to that place. For our final pieces it could be cool to link the song in your post too. Hope you all enjoy this one!
