Challenge 95: Western : Westward Travel Poster
What better way to showcase the splendor of the old west landscapes than with a vintage-style travel poster for Westworld?

Challenge 95: Western: Utah I gave dry landscape a shot this time, since I usually do more green, lush places. It was certainly a challenge for my process, but I’m glad I did it! This is somewhere in Utah, which is the destination for a road trip I’m super excited for, coming up in September. It’s so dramatic and extreme, I don’t know how anyone could deny the beauty of such a place. Caitlin
Challenge 95: Western: Ol’ Spaghetti Western Face
I’ve always thought the film genre ‘Spaghetti Western’ was pretty funny… conjures up images of pasta lassos, meatball cacti, and of course, Ol’ Spaghetti Western Face himself.

Challenge 95: Western: The Spark
Lately I’ve been watching a lot of the SyFy channel’s Face Off with all sorts of creepy markups. I was inspired to create a cowboy’s skull, still with the spark that keeps him going in the afterlife. Hope you all enjoy!

Challenge 95: Western: National Parks
Having fun trying out the graphic style like the references on top.

Challenge 95: Western
WESTERN! I'm thinking in the American wild west vein, but it could also be in a cultural sense or whatever else you make of it.

20140726 A triangle depicting my dog’s favorite things! (notice how 3/4 of it is food; I would add apples and eggs in too, but they didn’t fit into my triangle scheme.)
