Challenge 96: One Year: Make It Count
I was actually pretty thrilled to see how much time is left in 2017... this year has absolutely flown by so far. Each day has endless potential... you can color your days any way you like.

Challenge 96: One Year: Progress Gained, Progress Lost
Wanted to work with more conceptual imagery in this one, not sure if I’ll fuss with it some more but I like the overall tone and feeling from this piece.

Challenge 96: One Year: Owl The last year has been a very intense one for me, but I’m coming out on the other side with a lot more wisdom and strength than I ever thought I’d be capable of obtaining. What better animal to represent that, than an owl? I wanted to be sure to keep the talons visible, too, because I’ve learned how to fight through dark times and do what’s best for myself in life, for once. The quote is from a song that will always stick with me, from this time period in my life. I interpret it as hope for a better future, and I finally feel like I’m reaching that goal. Caitlin
Challenge 96: One Year: Milestones
There’s a lot going to happen for me in the coming year- marriage, turning 30 and many other milestones. They all inspired this illustration—hope you enjoy.

Challenge 96: One Year: Another Year with you.
8/8 is my anniversary with my husband, so I use this challenge to create a gift for him. I’ve always loved looking at embroidery work and decided to give it a first try and now I’m totally in love with it!

This is Flora. I'm trying to get down a comic about her and her husband, George. The idea is that the plants they cover their flat in are keeping George alive by growing through him, and Flora is looking after him.
