It can be anything from a personality trait to a preference or a relationship thing, anything at all!

So, I learned about the Story Starter Ask Game due to @snowypinkbunnies ...

I’m not as good a writer as Snowy, so if you’re okay with it, I'm going to change the rules slightly. Introducing the S.I.S.I.T. (Sentence Is Somewhere In There) Ask Game!

In this version, I need y’all to give me a sentence, and I’ll try to write at least a short fic with that exact sentence! It doesn’t need to be the first sentence - it just has to be there.

Other Rules:

If you’re throwing a fandom theme in there, I would advise doing Miraculous Ladybug, but you can try Persona 5 or Pokemon (nothing specific to the Anime or Manga, though). No promises on the latter two... 

Keep it decently clean - if your sentence contains content that involves fornicātiōnēs (s*x) or is māximē sanguinea (very g*ry content), I’m not doing it.

I will only change your sentence in case of grammatical errors or other reasons which I will ask you about.

I have the right to deny your suggestions if I feel uncomfortable posting them, but I might return the finished products to their sender privately in certain cases!

If I want to ask a sender about an idea but they send it anonymously, I’m out of luck! Please don’t send me your ideas anonymously, but if you want to keep anonymous, state so!

“You’re to be married, Lady Montilyet?”

Josephine hesitated. “I ... Yes, Inquisitor. It has been arranged.”

Doshiel nodded, his placid expression somehow closed beneath the strong lines of his vallaslin. What else had he expected? Josephine Montilyet was a noble, a human noble. She was so far beyond his reach, it was a wonder she even deigned to acknowledge that he was more than what he seemed ... just an elf. Not even just an elf, but a wild elf, a proud Dalish warrior who had lived his whole life for the good of his clan. Despite his pride, he was nothing in the eyes of most humans.

Yet, for a time, he had allowed himself to hope that ... No matter. This was her life, her purpose. Her family, of course, came foremost in her wishes. If this arranged match of hers guaranteed security for her kin, then who was he to argue? He could offer her nothing but himself, and all the prejudice that would come with such a match, from both sides. For her, that prejudice might destroy her family’s business, the seat already precarious that she was struggling so desperately to raise. For him, it would mean the end of his being Dalish. His people would reject him for choosing a human as a wife. Even his own children might turn their backs. Yet he had hoped, in the darkest of his hidden desires, that perhaps Josephine might feel enough for him to weather such trials by his side.

But no. She was to be wed, and he would continue on alone. He was the Inquisitor, and she could only ever be his ambassador. The hero always got the girl, according to Varric, but Doshiel was no hero. Josephine was no girl. She was a woman - beautiful, strong, purposeful.

She deserved far better than a mere elf.

Guess that fic

I’ve done this before but I figure let’s play again since the challenge only increases with time.

Send me an ask with a small section (no more than a few sentences) from any one of my fics on AO3 and without looking I have to say which one it’s from. If you’ve been here long enough to build up a large collection of fics, you know this is harder than it might sound lol!

Okay so in a few days, it will be exactly one year since I started this blog and posted my first fic ever! I had no experience with writing whatsoever, though I always enjoyed doing it but here I am now and it’s unbelievable! I won’t get too sappy just yet, but I wanted to ask you guys:

Would you like me to celebrate this one year anniversary in some way? Because I do! Tell me what you’d like to see (a remastered version of my first fic, taking drabble requests, ….) And I’ll pick something out!
