Simba’s realization Heartbreaking ↻ Heartwarming or both
The realization that his father is gone is one of the most significant moments that comes to mind for me when I think of heartbreaking moments. One of my worst fears is losing my parent or becoming a parent and losing my child. No matter how many times I watch this, it rebreaks my heart every single time. Simba’s ability to rise above the injustice and not only grow into his father’s footsteps is extremely heartwarming, but seeing that realization that his father is gone truly makes my heart break and I nominate this moment for a heartbreaking moment.
