Plot Summary:

A Plot: Cham, Brin, Vi, Imra, and Gim are stranded on an asteroid as the other Legionnaires look for them. Cham blames himself, Brin stews, Imra keeps her cool, and Gim and Vi hook up.

B Plot: Dirk and Blok go to Yucatan VII to see if the wrecked ship is theirs and mistakenly beat up some honeymooners. Dawnstar and Ayla search near Khund territory, but the cruiser blows up from solar flares, injuring them. Tinya and Thom search as well.

C Plot: The others return from Orando and find Garth depressed.

D Plot: Darkseid opens his pods to reveal his minions.

A Plot: Eventually the maroons rig up a signal device and Dawny sees it and rescues them. Ayla is upset because she sees Brin and Imra hugging.

Brainy and Jan go to cure Tenzil and are attacked by a bitter doctor who got fired. Brainy uses Jan's allergies to save them.

Plot Summary:

Garth loses his temper looking for Cham after he ran off from Brande's world. He tries to send Jo and Mon after them, but Jan sent them to Orando to help Val and Projectra, then he tries to go himself, but Gim gets a call from Marte that the Legion can't go anywhere near Khundia without endangering UP ambassadors who are there. Garth loses it and quits as leader, making Jan the leader.

Meanwhile, Cham, Brin, and Vi arrive at the Khund homeworld. The boys are arguing and Vi breaks it up and gets them back on track. Brin bumps into a guy and doesn't do the proper apology custom, so they end up in a death match with this guy, Kharlak. They defeat him but blow their cover, and Imra and Gim evac them bc Ayla begged Imra.

Tasmia and Mon check out a heavily armed planet, where Darkseid awakens without their notice. Then they're called to Orando to help.

Plot Summary:

Val totally blows off Projectra's invite to Janice Warren's party because he has too much to do and tells Cham to take her because she needs an escort. Turns out Janice looks exactly like Elwinda, and Cham gets a crush on her, but she is creeped out by his looks and shape-shifting. She lists her exact type, and Cham shifts into Dane Roberts. Projectra thinks it's a bad idea but goes with it. Janice likes him as Dane.

The next day she finds she's been stolen from and Dane becomes a suspect. Cham doesn't want to reveal his cover at Jeckie's insistence so he goes to solve the case himself. He discovers it was the robot guard repairman.

The repairman catches Janice and Cham snooping around his truck and threatens Janice, so Cham has to blow his cover to save her. They start dating.
