It’s amazing the things you find when cleaning out a house.

This signed hat has been sitting in a pile of hats that received almost direct sunlight for years. The bill is supposed to be a bright red. Early to mid 90s, since Mario retired from racing after the 1994 season. Mario Andretti is a really special person besides being an amazing race car driver.

Mario is truly a living legend. When I got stopped for speeding this one particular time, the trooper actually said to me, “Who do you think you are? Mario Andretti?”. I could only laugh and accept the ticket. I was actually driving to a race track to see Mario and Michael race that weekend. Ha.

Very proud and honored to have met this gentleman on more than one occasion. Always gracious. Always nice. Truly a great person.
