Mushi’s New Job Chapter 2
It was the day after Mushi’s punishment was first announced. Because of how early it started, she had to get up at six O’clock in the morning just to get dressed and eat breakfast. She goes out the door and walks down the path to her school.
At the school, a couple of people were standing out of the building, looking very intrigued when they saw her. “Ah, you made it.” One of the people said.
Mushi looked at them in confusion. “Were you guys waiting for me?”
“The principal said that you were going to help us with the school fair.” The other person said. “Follow us.” So they all went into the building where they went to the cafeteria where the decoration was all set up. “Here is where you will be working at.” Mushi looks around the place, getting a glimpse of what she will do for the whole day. “Now come with us in the kitchen for your new outfit.”
“New outfit?” She asked.
“Yeah, all workers have to wear cat accessories like cat tails and ears.” He asks a person next to him to grab the box of outfits for Mushi to see. “Oh and to be cautious, there are going to be cats all around here so I hope you are not allergic to them.” Mushi couldn’t understand why this had to be a thing in a school fair.
“Why cats?” She asked, confusely.
“Well you see, the theme of this school fair is something called Cafe Neko, it’s a celebration for cats and people to enjoy company from each other.” He said. The person who was assigned to getting the outfits came back into the cafeteria. “Ah, here.” He opens the box to reveal a black and white maid outfit with cat ears and a cat tail. “Here is your outfit.
Mushi looks at the outfit, noticing it’s crazy 1960s maid style. “Ummm, thanks?”
“Just go put it on and we’ll tell you what to do.” And so Mushi goes into the ladies bathroom and removes her clothes to put on the outfit. Then comes back into the cafeteria. “Perfect, now you know how waitresses work right?” Mushi gives a nod. “Good, it’s very simple. Collect people’s orders and give them back to the cookers where they will give you the customers food so you can give it to them.” He turns to everyone else. “Alright everyone! Five minutes before the show starts.” Mushi realized that at that moment, something was going to get in her way.

The fair had just opened up almost an hour ago and Mushi was busier than ever in her life. Taking orders and delivering food was getting a little bit crazy and had to rush through everything. She takes a deep breath before getting more orders from people. What’s more was the number of cats in the place, going through your legs and almost making you trip.

A lot of people came through, some she knew and others she didn’t recognize. Maybe if she had just told the truth, she wouldn’t have gotten herself in this mess. No, that would be bad enough for other people to annoy her. “So, liking your new job Mushi?” A male’s voice said behind her. She turns around to see an old friend of hers, Champi.
“Champi? What are you doing here?” She asks.
“I came to help with the fair.” He said. “I also brought my cat along so she can give the customers company.” RIght below his feet was a cat that had tan fur with brown stripes. “Her name is Sisa.” The cat meows in greeting.
“Hi there Sisa.” She kneels down to give Sisa a pat. “Well it was nice knowing you came along.”
“Me too, good luck with getting through with this.” He said before he left to talk with other people. Mushi decides to continue her work, hoping that it will be easy for her. But it was at that moment she saw someone who was going to make sure she gets embarrassed a lot, Mystery.

The stoic young lady aspires to the role of the youngest samurai.
She is accompanied by a mysterious girl and they in the forest are stalked...
Chapter 2: Who is the stranger?

Mushi and Nina slowly moved out of the water and gathered their things.
They walked straight into town, but the sensation of being watched changed to persecution...
The spy concentrated on the road trying not to be seen, wore a hooded coat and brown pants with various leg and hand bandages, plus a hip bag.
Suddenly, lost track of the girls and looked everywhere but in that a gust of icy wind lifted him and smashed him into a tree, the roots took the spy by the tremors. Mushi pulls out the sword and Nina pulls the loop of hair that turned into a round ax.
???: please, don't hurt me!!!
Mushi/Nina: Who are you!!!
Mushi approaches and removes the hood, it was a Boy. Apparently the same age as the Girls.
Nina: hmm... I've never seen him...
Mushi pointing the Katana at him: Me neither...
The boy spoke: I am not from this town... I am lost...
Nina: you have great spiritual energy, what are you?
The intrepid boy sat like a warrior and introduced himself: My name is Champi, I am a clairvoyant apprentice, Nice to meet you ladies...
Mushi and Nina exchanged surprised looks.
Mushi: Where do you come from, Champi?
Champi: I'm from Tokyo...
Nina: you don't look like it... rather... you have a very particular aura...
Champi: Well, they always tell me... I came here to look for the Cat temple... Mushi: why? is closed on this date...
Champi: it is very important that I go, I must speak with the Priestess so that she can teach me...
Nina and Mushi walked away for a moment:
Nina: what do you say?
Mushi: it gave us a good scare, a little strange... although I'm used to it...
Nina bothers: I hope you don't mean me!!!
Mushi looking away: no... of course not...
They returned with Champi.
Nina pulled out a sheet and Mushi drew a map.
Mushi: ready... I don't think you're going to get lost with this...
Champi: Oh yeah!!! Thanks a lot!!!
Champi takes Mushi's hand and kisses it showing his respect.
Nina: Tch!!!
Then they said goodbye to him.
Nina: aren't we going to follow him?
Mushi looks at his right hand: no... I... Aaahhh!!! I better go home, I have a ceremony practice this afternoon!!!
Mushi retires.
Nina glares at Champi walking away but decided to go with Mushi.
Nina thought: I hope that boy keeps his promise... no one else should know about us...
Meanwhile Champi on the road stopped shining: I always keep my promises...
