"I knew I'd find you" | {championwhite}

This place brought back memories both good and bad. This was the place he had first met her...The place he had finally admitted to someone that he was the king of Team Plasma. At the time, he had been proud to be known as the king. He had been proud to be part of the movement that would set his Pokemon friends free. At least that was what he had thought....Little had he known that Ghetsis had been lying about his true intentions all along. He hadn't planned to set the Pokemon free. He had planned to keep the Pokemon for himself and his minions, leaving the rest of Unova in darkness while he ruled over them. N himself had been nothing more than a puppet and Ghetsis his puppeteer.

Now, greyed eyes looked up at the Ferris wheel, admiring every motion it made as it spun gracefully up in the air. He had always felt an interest in this ride in particular. The mechanics of it all were amazing. A lot of work and math and science went into this ride. It was something that most riders didn't even think about. It was simply a tourist attraction to them. But it was much more to the loner who had wandered Unova aimlessly since giving up Zekrom and traveling everywhere by foot once again.

He had been searching for her. The young woman who had changed the outcome of his life and had, possibly, even saved his life. Who knows what Ghetsis had had in mind for him after he acquired what he wanted? Who knows if he would have had any use for N at all? Maybe N would've simply been thrown away like the trash Ghetsis seemed to look at him as. He was only Ghetsis' pawn in a sick game, afterall.

Touko, on the other hand, had saved him. Even if it had been a subconscious effort all in the name of the Pokemon. She had saved him. It was something he was eternally grateful for. He needed to thank her. He needed to tell her his feelings. He needed her to know just how much she had done for both him and Pokemon alike.

The problem was he had never been able to locate her. He had made it a point to the newest champion that he would find the girl. He would thank her. He would apologize for his actions before. He would set things right with her. Here he was six months later with no luck. No sightings. Nothing. He had even visited the young girl's home only to be told that she was out. Out searching for him. He thought it best to only call himself a friend of the girl and leave it at that. It would only hurt her mother to know her daughter was out searching for him when he was, in fact, right there....Perhaps he had waited to long to search for her. Perhaps this was all a mistake and it should be simply left alone. Perhaps...

The unique mans thoughts were abruptly ended when something caught his eye. He knew that face from anywhere. Was that....No...It couldn't be. Perhaps he had simply gotten his hopes too high in finding the girl. He wouldn't find her in a place as simple as this, would he? The high ponytail. The brown hair. It hit him like a ton of bricks when she turned around, speaking to a person nearby. Those bright azure eyes. That smile. It...it was her.

Everything he had planned to say to her. Everything he had planned to do when he saw her again seemed to leave his mind. He was at a loss for words. No. He couldn't let this get to him. He had made himself a promise to speak to her again. Guilt ravaged his mind, though. Guilt for everything he had done to wrong her. To wrong the Pokemon and the world. He had been the villain. The very people he had been trying to stop. He had become worse than anything he had ever imagined. Would she even want to see him again? Would she want to speak to him? The answer was likely no. He had to try, though. He couldn't let this bother him. He had to tell her.

The man swallowed hard before finally taking the first step towards the young trainer. He noticed his steps were unusually slow. Even if he hadn't meant them to be. He was nervous. More nervous than he had ever been before. He had to do this, though. He had to clear his conscious. He had to make up with her. Perhaps.....perhaps he would make his first real human friend in her.

"Touko....."

The word was a lot harder to get out this time around. Especially once those beautiful azure eyes were pointed in his direction. Was that his heart pounding? Was that what was causing the fluttering in his chest and the feeling of Butterfrees in his stomach? Another hard swallow. "I've....I've finally found you again...."

Say more! Say what you need to say! Get it out! No luck. He was frozen. His hands fumbled to reach for the Menger Sponge linked to his pants by a single chain. Fingers fiddling with the device. It was a nervous tick of his in a way. It helped to settle any stress he had or anxiety. This time didn't seem to be helping much.

I'm Sorry ~Requested Drabble~

I'm Sorry: My character feels guilty for being behind the wheel during the accident that left yours in the hospital.

Driving. What made Gold think he could drive properly? He had barely even drove before let alone drove a truck. A go-kart was much different from a truck. So why had Gold agreed to drive White in a truck? Gold couldn't help it. He was to blame. He should have said that he didn't know how to drive in the first place. Then White wouldn't have been in the hospital...

Driving sounded fun and hard. White had assured Gold that it wasn't too hard. Gold didn't have his licence and he didn't tell White. Surely she would have thought poorly of him. Gold was slow at first but as he thought he was getting the hang of it he went faster.

White didn't complain about the speed. Surely she didn't really understand either. Gold hadn't been paying much attention when that Deerling jumped out onto the road. Gold had swerved to try and avoid hitting the Pokemon before crashing into a tree. He had passed out shortly after that.

He woke up in a hospital. Not surprise. The only big surprise was that he wasn't hurt too badly. When he asked about White... He felt bad. White had gotten hurt more badly. And it was completely his fault.

Gold was standing beside White's bed, he squeezed her hand, getting no response just like the other times. "I'm so sorry... I'm sorry..."
