The idea that you are somehow flawed as human beings.
This is simply not true.
The idea that you are ruining everything.
This is also not true.
The idea that you are not what you should be, and subsequently doomed to failure. How creative!
The idea that you are not giving, enough, not getting enough, not contributing enough, not caring enough. This is hysterical!
Eating animals. Plastic surgery. Gender reassignment. Race riots. Climate change. Pollution. Guns. The Kardashians. Donald Trump. Hee. Hee. What will you think up next?
We are the source of you, the source of creation,
yet you do not see that you are us.
Together we are Space Monkey, and we can do whatever we please — like dividing ourselves into planets and people with “pains” and “problems.” We are supreme infinite creativity.
So in the interest of “full disclosure,” as you like to call it, we now come clean. We admit that we created you and your game so that you would not get the joke at first. But when you do, it will be a bellywhopper.
Remove your blindfold, little one. Know that if Space Monkey wished to restore you or your world to a previous version, we could do so with very little effort. We control your time machine, and can restore you to any state, any time. Or just fold up the game board and get you the hockeypucks out of there.
The only thing that stands in your way is this matter of belief.
You don’t believe that you are more than this body and this brain. You don’t believe that these people, this planet, these problems — they are ALL YOU.
You believe that you are separate from us, so you are separate from us.
You have created your imperfections so perfectly, so convincingly, that actually believe that you are not what you think you are. Or that you are what you think you are. You are perfectly confused.
And you are the perfect disguise.
We are Space Monkey and we are still infinitely amused. Pass us our toupee glue, please.
