I'm trying to change some little things I do on a regular basis that are not actually healthy and I just feel like making this "public" so I might actually stick with it
things I'm in the process of changing:
when I change a song on my mp3 player in public I will not bother surpressing the loud clicking sound it makes, it's not that loud, and no one actually cares, I am allowed to occupy space and make sounds and have a place in society
when telling a group of people that I'm not available on a certain date, I will not tell people that "they could also just do it without me", I derseve to be part of a group & its activities
when a friend genuinely asks me how I am doing, I want to be able to tell them the truth, even if I'm not doing well, my problems are valid no matter how silly they may seem to me
accept help & accept people offering me nice things
when someone makes a comment about my body (especially my mum), I don't just want to ignore it, I want to speak up against it, I like my body the way it is, and even if I don't, that's my own business
when I know something, I can say so and I will not need to apologise for remembering a lot of facts
it's okay to be passionate about something, don't apologise Svenja
my clothing style is unconventional, but it's my own, when someone is looking at me when I'm wearing a nice outfit it's because they either admire my self-confidence or think I look great (even if this is not true it's sooo much better to tell yourself that)
not tie my self worth to my achievements or my progress in getting rid of social anxiety, taking steps backwards is totally fine and I'm allowed to do that (boy, that will be hard)
I apologise for things I don't actually feel sorry about and I should not be doing that, there's no need to initiate conflicts but it's also not good to swallow all problems
I alsoapologise for stuff I make, I know this is something a lot of people do, but even if I feel like something isn't perfect I want to present it like the fucking second Mona Lisa
embrace my weirdness (yes, in general)
that's all I can think of for now, there's probably more I will add later
