one day i get insanely obsessed with the marauders, make a pinterest board, start a tumblr, following people and making post, start writing and brainstorming a fanfic with scenes ideas in notes, that's my life for a month, and then i leave it all and i disappear. like what- my brain can't be normal? it's all obsession and then another thing? i can't focus or be consistent on anything.

I just applied for Art at my university! I've been studying English before and just wasn't happy with that 😔 Therefore I am applying for the love of my life: ART 🎨 I hope that I will be accepted because I have no plan B 😅

Looking for some advice. I think Im going to get a 2:2 (law at Cambridge) but want to work at a firm in the city. D'you think theres a chance that my DoS/Personal Tutor would help me arrange a spot at at a difference university (say UCL) as I think i would cope better there for History - my true passion!

Are you a first year? or a 3rd year? Are you 100% sure you want History? 

I don’t think your DoS or Tutor would be able to help you at all (beyond writing your recommendation of course), especially as you’ll be applying to a different course. Also, they won’t massively be inclined to to be honest, why would they want to help someone who wants to leave? You’ll have to drop out and reapply through UCAS and then start from scratch at your new uni. 

Dropping out is a massive choice, as is changing subject. This might just be exam term panic, you don’t want to massively upend your future based on a bit of panic. How about you get through this term, work your ass off, and then see where things stand. If it’s July and you’ve got results and you’ve had some time to get perspective and you still want to transfer, then go for it. But don’t make any massive life choices during exam term, that’s a recipe for disaster. And don’t kind of half ass this term because you think you might want to transfer, at least give yourself the chance to succeed. You owe that to yourself.
