For me & anyone else who needs to hear this. 👂🏽💫 . . Yesterday I pulled the Tower(Garlic) & today I pulled the 10 of Swords(Ephedra). I’ve been having fairly good(albeit heavy) days, so the appearance of these cards were a bit startling at first but with herbal help— I began to see these messages with more spiritual clarity. There’s an energy asking for me to make room. Appropriate for what the New Moon facilitates, new beginnings. I must acknowledge the spaces where I think & worry too much about what’s next & unknown. This is a time to embrace faith & trust, to relieve the congestion that’s born of fear of movement... and to honor the necessary death of a cycle to begin a new one. It’s time to accept things as they are. An active acceptance, rather than passive. The dismantling is necessary, so I can rise up and walk a new path with sure steps and a peaceful heart. Two nights ago I dreamt of garlic and onions, so I strained an elixir and oxymel that contained mainly garlic. Before then, I’d strained a tincture with Mullein, Elecampane, Chickweed, Slippery Elm, Wild Cherry Bark & Lobelia— called “Breathe Easy.” The elixir “Clear the Air,” contains Garlic, Ginger, Lemongrass, Mullein, Eyebright, Star Anise & Honey. I believe today’s card of 10 of swords are asking for those actions to be taken in order for truth to be seen & lived. Patience is necessary here. Taking the time to increase my body’s ability to take in breath and allowing myself to take in greater life force. This cleansing and clearing breath will allow me to clear my mind, make way for fresh thoughts & breathe in my experience more deeply. “Clear the Air” helps make room, “Breath Easy” allows for greater integration. The oxymel, I call “Power & Protect” & supports personal power work, which is so relevant for me at this time.
