You know, I think it would be interesting if, in the event Furina and Wanderer meet and Furina talks about Focalors, Wanderer gets slightly outraged on Furina’s behalf, mostly because he’s projecting his own mommy issues onto Furina and automatically assuming Furina considers Focalors her mother.

I mean, if we're getting technical, I'd argue they're not "mommy" issues so much as "emotionally unavailable creator goddess leaving you to fend for yourself" issues. In that light it's hardly misplaced.

You know what would be hilarious, if the Pokémon scarlet and Violet manga went with Violet x Carmine. Also, call me shiptrash, but I think they might just be angling for Scarlet x Nemona.

Never thought about it, but Violet and Carmine interacting with be a riot.

The second Carmine starts yelling at him ("YOU'RE ONE OF THOSE TOURISTS, AREN'T YOU?!"), Violet's gonna cry in response. Carmine will have no idea how to react to that since most of the people around her know how to deal with her. She'd get flustered and try to get him to stop, and thankfully Violet would immediately do so and not hold it against her. So what starts out looking like a train wreck will slowly evolve into something friendlier in which Violet will be the first person Carmen will consciously try not to yell at and Violet will learn to have more tact and respect (because he totally would be one of those tourists).

Basically the opposite direction I imagine a Scarlet and Kieran relationship would go, lol.

And oh yeah, honestly kinda hard not to see a push towards Scarlet/Nemona, one-sided as it may currently be. Nemona's straight up fantasizing that a perpetual frowner is smiling at her, girl's crushing hard.

I ship it, but I wasn't that invested. Since it's been so long since I've watched Kill La Kill I don't really have any other opinion. But if you have headcanons you want to throw my way, go right ahead.

Novelization Anon: hey so, I’m kind of stuck on writing something. Any ideas on what gamma would win in a bet? Like the equivalent of ‘person a owes person b a coke’ for the spiral. It doesn’t have to be a beverage or anything, just something gamma would be in for betting on.

Treasure cards. For 2 reasons.

1) Gamma is like the mascot of Deckathalon, since he's the one to explain it ro us (Im 99% sure) and his face was the icon for all of the weekly events for the Scroll of Fortune. I headcanon that he was the one who made Deckathalon, and that he actively participates from time to time (when it rolls around and he isn't busy with administrative work), and ya need treasure cards in Decka.

2) Gamma presents himself as a fairly proper and serious and responsible person. As basically the 2nd oldest Ravenwood faculty (having been by Ambrose's side since before Ravenwood was made), he cant exactly go around betting gold like some lousy pirate in a tavern! It wouldnt look good for his public image. So instead, he dabbles in the treasure card 'black market', which at this point is just a second freaking market among the Ravenwood community, and heck, maybe among wizards across the Spiral. After all, the biggest player-made trading server (that I know of) is called GAMMA's Trading Post (It's got over 14k people in it). And I for one love taking headcanons not just from game material, but community material too.

You know, I could kinda see Furina being a bit jealous of Mavuika, since Mavuika, as a human archon who had the power to save her people, is a respected leader, and someone who seems to an all around well put together person despite the stress of leadership and suffering through trauma, is kind of everything Furina probably wishes she could have been as Fontaine’s archon. Granted, I doubt she would be vocal about this (she’d probably feel guilty about being envious honestly).

Especially true if prior to Furina's abdication she already had a sense of this.

On the other hand... I'd like to think that, a couple of years on, it's less aching envy-jealousy and more a sad "damn, too late now but wish I'd had her to learn from".

(In Furina's defence, having to come into work everyday for the 500 years of metaphorical riding into the sun would probably have done a number on Mavuika, too.)

Say, you know what would be a fun idea for a Fontaine playable character? A defense attorney who is the archetypical “idealistic defense attorney” with a commitment to truth and justice and a strong conviction that everyone be they innocent or guilty has the right to a fair trial. They would also dislike champion duelists on principle both due to thinking the whole legally enshrined trial by combat thing is dumb and because their father was a sadistic champion duelist. Any thoughts?

Multiple thoughts! (1) "I love that idea" thoughts, and, (2) "nothing's occuring to me atm I don't have anything to add and wish I could have just reblogged your post about it because now it seems like I love the sound of my own voice" thoughts :P

It's not that big a blow to marketability, is it? Anyone who wants to waifu-ise her or headcanon her differently can pretty easily read it as "just gals being pals".
