anyways, bart actually realised he liked boys before he did girls. he had a crush on his junior high bestie, preston lindsay. but nothing ever came of it because bart didn't want to potentially ruin one of the first friendships in his life, and having come from a time period where queerness was very accepted, to one where...well, ya know, he did not yet know how to navigate that. eventually, he developed feelings for carol bucklen and they started dating, but his feelings for preston didn't then magically vanish. hence, why he has a tendency towards polyamory in his adult life.

unfortunately, both of these relationships ended, and bart regrets falling out of touch with both carol and preston.

I've got my first tomatoes coming in so I'm in a good mood. It's my easy girls. There's four itty bitty tomatoes showing up and I'm stoked. Just need my cherry tomatoes to start coming in and I'll be good. This is the first time I've tried gardening outside of house plants.

Her crossbow was aimed level at Evelynn, who stood behind a wall of flames. Her glaze was sharp. This whole time, she had thought she'd been getting the drop on her, but now she was realizing Evelynn knew of her pursuit, and had been toying with her; at least, that's what she assumed.

"Keep talking and we'll see how well your skull can take a sliver bolt to it," She hissed. Either way, she still intended to kill the demon; but maybe she could get her to shut up first. "You're not getting away this time,"

A small amused sound escaped from her lips. Whatever light is hidden behind smoked lenses.

A light raise of her shoulders, brief and nonchalant. Given her penchant for a dark wardrobe (and the skill, patience, and resources to dye such a colorfast black that others lacked), it seemed reasonable she was the receiver of many, similar comments.
