Ok so, the Night Night gun from Agents of Shield but Tim Drake uses it

Like, once the Red Robin run is over Tim sees the need for an instant solution in hard situations (in this AU the Assassin Trio LIVES)

And what’s the least likely weapon for a Bat to fight with??? Guns (excluding Red Hood)

However, Tim may not entirely agree with Bruce’s ideology but he still doesn’t kill, so he gets the idea of making a gun that, instead of killing people, just instantly knocks them out instead, hence the Night Night gun

The point is that Tim has this gun and its holster is in an easy to reach place for him that’s still out of sight from the rest of the Bats (like in his lower back which the cape can hide) or he has modified his gauntlets to work sort of like Deadshot’s gauntlets but only he can activate this feature or both because it pays to be prepared

And there comes a time where a fight is really getting tiring (against thugs or a gang or henchmen) and Jason’s run out of ammo, Damian lost his katana, Dick doesn’t have his escrima sticks and Tim has lost his bo staff, and at this point Tim is way past Done with this because it was supposed to be an easy night and he is a Tired Boi, so he’s just like ‘Fuck it’ and uses his surprise Night Night gun to just take down the remaining henchmen so they can call it in to the GCPD and go home

The problem with this is that Tim, in all his infinite sleep deprived wisdom, was kinda running on fumes when he invented the Night Night gun and thought about telling the Bats about it so no one would freak out, and then he DIDN’T so while he knows that the gun is essentially just an instant knock out weapon, to Jason, Dick and Damian it just looks like Tim just shot a gun to 10+ goons and instantly killed them because they just dropped

*Que confused internal screaming* and they’re kinda in shock because DID TIM JUST KILL THEM!?!?! Meanwhile Tim is just putting away the Night Night gun and taking out the zip ties to tie up the goons, and when he doesn’t see his brothers doing the same thing he’s just like ‘wtf guys hurry up’

And Jason just goes like ‘heeeyyyy Red????? I have a question for you. . . um why the FUCK do you have a gun??!? *also, you’re aim? 10/10* but yeah WHY???’

And Tim is all like o_0 ‘to knock people out faster???? Didn’t I tell you guys about this?????’

Anyway, just Tim casually using the Night Night gun and people freaking out, that’s the idea
