You see, a few years ago, all the way back in high school, I had a dream where the team members from Chaotic (yeah, that old show on 4Kids) ran into a bunch of biker Creatures, one group of UnderWorlders and one group of Danians, racing in the UnderWorld. The group nearly gets hit by them, and one of them pulls off to make sure they’re okay. It was a strange but memorable dream, so I made some characters out of them.
The UnderWorlder and Danian Biker Gangs formed out of a dissatisfaction with their respective tribes.
The Danian Gang is viewed moreso as traitors, and have their antennae cut off as an initiation to weaken their connection to the Hive and as a symbol of unity.
They currently don’t have a specific gang name.
They each live on the outskirts of civilization. Typically they have to resort to some sort of plunder to stay afloat, but not always.
They don’t necessarily use “bikes”, but they use vehicular BattleGear to get around.
- Kallorn - A blue six-armed Naga Creature, with a strong body cloaked in self-made jackets or other clothes. Chaor and other UnderWorlders had envisionings of a multi-wielding weaponsmaster upon seeing this skilled fighter in the Coliseum. Still, one to loathe the military and the conquering nature of the Underworld, Kallorn decided if the UnderWorld would not focus their efforts to bettering the life of the everyday citizen, then he’d head off and better his own life alone with his gang. Despite this, Kallorn does not loathe the UnderWorld or all of its ideals, and would still rather drift around then try moving and settling somewhere else. He is the leader of an UnderWorld Biker gang. He has a stubborn but sympathetic personality, and would rather let his actions do the talking.
- Xant: A monstrous toad whom Kallorn formed the biker gang with, having been somewhat close in their childhood. Studious and hard-working, he had aspirations of becoming a mechanic or BattleGear creator like Ulmar or Khybon, but found that he often pushed boundaries too far, having no qualms about stealing, modifying, and “improving” whatever he could find. A few near-disasters caused him to wind up in The Pit on several occasions, affecting him socially, finding it was becoming more and more difficult to share any ideas he had. He’s grown into a secretive sort, often unveiling grand plans when they are already finished or in motion.
- Alstruma: A female humanoid with pale skin dotted in scars from her misadventures.. She possesses powerful Air and electricity-based attacks, unusual for an UnderWorlder. Often assists the engineer despite her limited ability with technology. She’s most certainly the most chaotic and reactive of the group, but prefers to express herself with trickery, wit, and skill rather than duels. She prefers the lifestyle of living in the moment. Was once part of the Carnival of Confusion and still attends frequently.
- Hyss: A female antlion who worked as a miner thanks to her natural talent. The most passive of the group, not the best at speaking or being around outsiders. Found kinship in the gang’s united solitude and way of thinking, and found it better to be in good company instead of being around other rough and tumble workers.
- Gurthar, the Dreamcrusher: A male green orc with a big fun and friendly personality and even larger muscles and gut. Has extremely dark blue, practically black hair only atop his head. It grows fast, but he chops it off frequently. Had issues fitting in with the UnderWorld due to his strength being paired with his inability to use it, due to having a deficiency with his legs, which often lock up and can’t stand hardly any rigorous movement. Loves to show off his abilities, but has trouble doing so. And yes, he gave himself his own title.
- Nagaal Ropuun: A tall, strapping vermillion Danian with one large navy blue horn that splits into two. An ex-Noble who fled from responsibilities and preparations of wars and soldiers he wanted nothing to do with. Walks on two legs. Despite commanding a powerful aura, he can be rather passive and would rather hear what others think first, including Mandiblors. His perceived inaction often caused him to butt-heads with other Nobles and important Danian figures. He acts moreso as the glue of a family unit and is more of a unifying figure than a leader, but together with other Danian outcasts, he runs a biker gang, free to do whatever they want in the UnderWorld.
- Ithrax: A wide but agile young earthen-colored Danian with a penchant for secrets, scandal, and truth. Not one to keep private details or things buried under some notion of "for the better good", this boisterous but cunning, sticky-fingered Mandiblor was never one to keep anything secret, from reports of the past to plans of the future, which caused distress around the entire Hive as truth became rumors and rumors became lies. Viewed as a liability in combat were he to be captured, and nothing but trouble in the Hive itself, he was to face eternal punishment til' he escaped and quickly joined with a Danian Noble to form their own tight-knit unit. Usually honest and typically-well intentioned, he is viewed as the driving force and ambition behind the team, making him just as much of a leader, too.
- Lastrin: The violet-colored four-armed engineer of the group with sharp green mandibles and a sharper mind. A resourceful and creative soul, this Mandiblor was seen as out of line by his Controllers and SquadLeader. Using scrap from the Danian junkyard, he concocted impromptu machines and traps. On one occasion, he was allowed to implement his inventions on the training field by his Squadleader, as long as he could order other Danians effectively around it. Unfortunately, commanding was not his forte, which led to disastrous results. Commanded to leave his passion behind, he left the Hive in retaliation, leading him to join the group and concoct all of them ways of transportation.
- Bureek: A colorful smaller Danian Muge and Infectionist who was going to be a simple Mandiblor soldier in Mount Pillar due to his talents going unrecognized and undermined by Valanii Levaan, who wanted to "whip him into shape, or else" instead. Any potential promotions or relocations into other areas of the Hive, such as with Khavakk or Oipont was quickly dismissed due to his "insubordinate attitude" of snark (which this Danian possesses a lot of) or pleas to show his abilities. After a barely surviving an impromptu execution from Levaan, he fled the Hive. He is quite close to but also quite argumentative with Ithrax.
Fun Fact: In my dream, the only one who had a concrete design was Gurthar! Actually, Bureek infected him and he became a Danian, but that actually ended up healing his legs, so he was actually happy about it and laughed it off, but I don’t necessarily consider that canon or anything, aha.
But, yeah. Here they are!
