BELLUS: - its v likely peyton was one of the many victims to bellus’s short-lived infatuations since peytons not only very pretty but bellus tends to be drawn towards other energetic people the most. and like most of bellus’s crushes it didnt really go anywhere since idk if bellus’s want for attention all day everyday and impulsive playing with other peoples things would mesh well with peyton’s want for alone time and not wanting his maps or sword messed with. even after the crush passes on though bellus does appreciate peyton’s looks - the bright side of bellus’s crush and the after effects of it all is that he’ll scold meri any time he brings up sore subjects to get a rise out of peyton. and if that doesnt work he’ll tell on meri to kenn so its fine

MERI: - their first meeting would probably be a mess since meri loves bothering others and unfortunately still doesnt understand the concept of boundaries. he Will bring up the parents situation and then be pissy when peyton makes good on the threat of shutting him up. he will also Not learn his lesson the first time it happens and turn it into a game of “how long can you make peyton run after you” - after eventually stopping hes less of a dick dw. since they both enjoy bothering others, meri would have a field day the moment he finds that out and peyton would be added to the list of people that probably wont say non when theyre dragged into pranks with him - peyton Will be able to make meri more tame by getting him to play other games, whether board games or video games. also mayhaps by cooking since meris actually a surprisingly good cook and does want to know more about mainland cooking - has probably drawn at least one very tiny smiley face on a map peyton made and waited to see how long itd take him to notice it was there and then how long itd take for peyton to find out it was him

CASPIAN: - he pours himself a cup of coffee and looks out the dorm ship window. bellus and meri are on deck bothering peyton. he takes a sip and closes the blinds - caspian takes a lot of amusement in watching the first two and peyton interact mainly because the first two are both disasters and peyton was unfortunate enough to stumble into them. he also probably knows a lot about peyton?? or at least anything bellus knows about him during the crush period since caspian is the one who listens to him talk about all his crushes. as someone who also has a lot of secrets (or at least secrets to anyone not within their little group-), he appreciates that peytons able to keep his in a place like nrc - with peytons good grades in history, caspians likely approached him at some point to ask if he could help him in it. hes only been on the mainland for 3 years at the least and neverland doesnt seem like itd have detailed records of anywhere that wasnt in neverland tbh. out of the four, hes also the least likely to intrude on peytons alone time with books-

KENN: - is the one who puts an end to the “how long can you make peyton run after you” game if peytons threats and their follow through isnt enough to stop meri. out of them all he has the best handle on the cultural difference between neverland and the mainland so he manages to get meri to understand that people dont like it when you bring up certain things - Will want to look at the maps peyton makes, especially if he has stories to go with different locations on the latest map hes made. also to look at the tiny sea monster drawings if peyton puts those onto his maps - its either out of luck or talent but somehow kenn is usually able to notice whenever peyton is “borrowing” something from him specifically. hes lowkey possessive of his things so depending on how valuable kenn sees whatever peytons taking, he’ll either immediately demand ask for it back or giving him a few minutes before asking for it back if it isnt returned soon after
