Drabble - Seduce || chaoticumbrage

This wasn't something Blaze usually took part in, but she was in a different mood tonight.

They had been staying together for a little while now. Trying to ease their stress of matters that they both would rather not mention (both having to deal with Robotnik) and attempting to help each other out. They needed support to go through this and they were the only two who seemed to understand what the other was going through.

Shadow was sitting near the window and Blaze was cooped up in a chair. She lay down on her side with her head on an armrest and her feet dangling off the other. The rain pounded against the window and the room was completely silent.

Until Blaze cleared her throat. 

"...You okay?" She asked. Shadow shrugged and looked at her as a response. Blaze read it as: sure, he was fine, but a bit bored. 

Sliding off the chair, Blaze made her way to the other side of the room and hesitantly touched his shoulder. That made her feel a little weird, but at the same time, she felt good about it.

Blaze thought that though words were never really spoken about it, it was pretty obvious that the two liked each other in a romantic sense. Neither of them were really romantic people...at all. But they understood each other in a way no one else could.

She eventually found herself gliding her fingers up to Shadow's ear and scratching behind it. His tail wiggled a little; most likely involuntarily, but that was a sign he liked it. ...She thought. 

She leaned up close to him and he could feel her warm breath on his ear. She was blushing slightly and she couldn't see how Shadow was reacting to this. She rose her head a little, so her lips almost touched his ears and asked: "Would you like to come sit on the couch...?"

He took a moment to respond, but he agreed.

"If it makes you feel any better, Sonic, I've always found 'the way you act' intolerable." -There was a smirk- nah, he probably wasn't trying to make Sonic feel any better as much as he were just being a prick.
