This green-striped “Chaperon” headdress was created for John Hurt as Franz in the 1972 film 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝒊𝒑𝒆𝒓. It made another appearance not long after in 1975, worn by Neil Innes as Brave Sir Robin’s singing minstrel in 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒚 𝑷𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒚 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒍. Let us know what you think! Tis the season to finally be able to wear my woolen medieval clothes out to the local outdoor DnD themed fantasy tavern!

My chaperon is a little wrinkled bc it’s actually a hood that I made ages ago and may or may not have gotten super mega wasted when I last wore it in March for Sherwood and shoved it into the bottom of a pile of clothes unfolded and crumpled into a ball but... 🤷

I looked stylin’ nonetheless
