I’ll admit the shot with Denjiro was cool, and he totally deserved to slice a head. But I’m still pissed at Hiyori. WTF was her plan?!
All she did was poke him with a nail and play guitar for him, which we all know has lethal affect.🙄 Seriously she didn’t know about the quake that trapped him, or the blaze that set him on fire. And when he was trapped she just kept yelling at him. Girl at least smack him with the damn guitar! but no just yelling about how everyone hates him and he should die. Did she think he would starve under there or something?
It would have been better if she did start hitting him with some rubble when he was trapped, then have a moment of worry when the fire spirit comes, a vindictive YES when it sets him ablaze and keep smacking him, not enough to truly hurt him since she’s not built for combat, but have her rant about how she won’t let him leave, won’t let him escape, will deal with him herself so no one has to anymore, won’t let him trick or lie his way out of this. Have her just give as many blows as possible until the nail falls out. Then she can be scared, have Orochi rip the rubble out of her grip and menace her, then Denjiro comes to slice the head off.
Same conclusion, but it shows she actually had a plan to keep Orochi occupied and out of the battle and her determination to get her hands dirty in ‘battle’. Instead Hiyori just relied on the fact that everything would work out with out any real work from her, and it did.
