When I'm in a competition to see who loves Chopper the most but my opponent is Luffy.
I would just like to note that Inuyasha gave Miroku explicit instructions that he needed to go check on Kagome.
And then there's this panel:
Miroku could've just put Kagome on Kirara's back with the others. She's carried three of them before. However, he chose to carry Kagome specifically. Why? Because he knew that Inuyasha would be pissed if Kagome wasn't taken care of. So Miroku takes special care to make sure that she stays as safe as possible.
