I wanted to ask about Kuroshitsuji chapter 145 — how do you interpret the storyline? The Yard takes Sebastian, Ciel, and Blavat from the Phantomhive manor. The young master is unusually quiet; I assume he’s processing everything that’s happened, possibly in shock after seeing his brother again — it must have been too much for him all at once. Meanwhile, Sebastian verbally defends him from Blavat, warning him to beware of the creatures of the night. But it seems as if Sebastian noticed something—or someone—nearby, doesn’t it?

In the end, a snake appears in front of the Yard officer, and Sebastian and Ciel manage to escape. My question is: was that snake a manifestation of Sebastian’s demonic power, or was it Snake’s actual snake?
