I dunno, I guess it was just refreshing to see a moment of 'alone at home together’ physical intimacy that didn’t involve tripping and pushing the girl down like in most RomComs. Reminded me of the time when Chihiro took his hand to do a palm reading and Yugami laughed ‘cuz he’s ticklish and it made Chihiro go like !!!?! because it’d been a while since she’d seen such a normal human quality from him BLESS THESE TWO.
