I’ve just read chpater 953 of One Piece and I found something curious in this panel:

The man was named Ushimaru SHIMOTSUKI. And Shimotsuki is the name of the village where the dojo in which Roronoa Zoro trained is located.  Also, from Shimotsuki Village’s One Piece Wiki page:

So, do you think there is the possibility that Shimotsuki clan (and in particular Ushimaru) and Shimotsuki Village in the East Blue are somehow related?  And do you think Ushimaru and Zoro are related? In the panel, Ushimaru’s profile seems similar to Zoro’s one (except from the “ponytail”). Zoro is the only one in Mugiwara’s crew who hasn’t a relative, whether alive or dead, and Oda has never shown us his real family. Maybe in this arc we will finally know something more about him? If Zoro is actually related to Ushimaru, who was the Daimyo of the clan (if you don’t know what’s a Daimyo, HERE the Wikipedia link), this means that Zoro comes from an important family in Wano country.
