The lack of eye contact thing is another mood! Instead of looking at eyebrows or ears, I personally end up looking at noses. Or if they're wearing makeup, I end up visually tracing their eyeliner and imagining the ways their eye shadow blended together. Or I trace the frame of their glasses if they wear glasses. I never actually look them in the eye. Basically I turn this into a visual stim, and so for the longest time, I thought I did make eye contact. But nah. I cheated like a pro :D

My mum has told me to look at earrings so i try to do that but,

generally I just end up staring into space next to their head!

Do you know just HOW LONG it took me to realise i dont make eye contact

i was just like having a conversation with my friend and I was staring off into space, and then i just stopped and said,

‘wait shit i havent been making eye contact this entire time have i”

Hello! I saw your posts and thought you could use a hug and a distraction. Instead of hearts I would like you to offer you headcanons. Part 1: Klaus gets an emotional support cat per his therapist's suggestion. Ben keeps trying to materialize so he could pet her. The kitten wants attention but is a lowkey traitor because when Vanya is there, she ignores Klaus COMPLETELY 'till Vanya leaves. When he visits, Diego baits the kitten with treats so she'd approach him instead of Klaus, too.

I love this!! Also, cats can totally see ghosts, so the others always see the cat darting around and only Klaus can see that Ben is vaulting over the couch being chased by this damn cat.

I completely agree about your post on creating as a way to keep an ADHD brain going. I’m a writer. I want to write creatively full time. But it’s gonna take a lot to get there. Meanwhile I’m ok with my current day job, but I can’t imagine doing that and not engaging in character/world building and plotting and posting fanfics in my free time. Our passions almost become a second job for us, but it’s rewarding. My analogy: creative pursuits are like cake. Hyperfixation are more like frosting.

Absolutely!

Gives nose/forehead kisses - Wiiilll definitely Will

Gets jealous the most - Neither of them is really the jealous type? tbh?

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive - Will, probably. Riley plans a girl’s night or a night out or something, and Will usually comes along but not always because he has night shifts, so they agree that she’ll call when she’s ready to go home and he goes and picks her up :)

Takes care of on sick days - they both do ofc but Riley is absolutely the mother hen, she makes him warm soup and cuddles with him in bed when he has chills, the whole  nine yards.

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day - Will! Riley grew up on an island, sure, but the ocean is always fucking freezing in Iceland so she never really used to get in, but now Will picks her up and walks into the water with her and they laugh and she screams when seaweed grazes her leg and they have so much fun :’)

Gives unprompted massages - Probably Riles

Drives/rides shotgun - Will drives and Riley rides shotgun. PTSD, y’all

Brings the other lunch at work - Riley! DJ hours don’t really lend themselves to sharing lunch, ya know? But anyway she takes him lunch and every once in a while she buys doughnuts or pastries or something for the officers to share. She’s a hit with the coworkers, i’ll tell ya that

Has the better parental relationship - Riley. I mean, Will loved his dad but it was a very Mixed Feelings relationship

Embarrassingly drunk dancer - Will lmao

Still cries watching Titanic - see above

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas - Riles, ooohohohoooho definitely Riles

Makes the other eat breakfast - I feel like they’re not usually huge breakfast people, but on the weekends Riley likes to make pancakes with her dad’s recipe, along with really good coffee and some fruit and everything, the works

Remembers anniversaries - Both, for sure

Brings up having kids - Riley. Knowing her past and what she’s been through, Will would never dare ask her about having kids even though he’d really want some. Eventually Riley is able to put enough distance between herself and what happened and decides she’d like to try again.
