The streetlights flickered on, as the sky grew darker with each passing hour. Aaron grumbled to himself as he walked into the warm cafe with school papers to grade in hand. The smell of coffee and mahogany wood filled the air. He ordered a vanilla bean frappe and proceeded to find a seat, but the garnet colored couches were all taken. He noticed a spot next to someone open, and hesitated before walking over. “Hello, is it okay if I sit here?” he quietly asked.
