the other thing i have against aging down the adult human cast of TMNT [primarily Casey and April, but I'm aware its been done to Karai and even Baxter Stockman too] is like?
The fuck do you get out of making these characters kids that you can't get from them being adults? Other than romantic bullshit? Or more scenes inside of schools?
As far as I'm aware of aging down Casey and April doesn't really do much but reduce the kinda shit they can do story wise.
And also... there's literally human teen characters that are allies of the turtles could be used instead of de-aging Casey and April for similar age turtle peers. Keno and Angel are right fucking there with plenty of room for new character interactions and exploration for them.
