okay let’s go! some of these pics won’t have the correct eye color so I specified that below the images. all pics are from pinterest except sawyer which i’ve linked separately.

Son of a dread pirate lord, Sebástian is well educated and wealthy. Essentially pirate royalty. Has an affinity for the finer things in life, in more ways than one.

age 29 - long black hair, light blue eyes, dark circles, kraken tattoo that spans most of his upper body
The ship’s first mate. Strict with a sadistic streak, he runs a tight ship. Talented with a whip.

Question for writers who need visual references: is there a place other than Pinterest where you can search for character faceclaims that fit certain parameters because Pinterest is now overrun with AI "headshots" and I'd rather not rely on that

Would anybody let me use them as faceclaims? Like to be able to use vids , photos and stuff? I don't like using celebs for orginal characters, I will if I have to but I prefer not to. You know, I don't know. :-P I found the faceclaim on Pexels, where there's no specific info, I think because it's free stock photos that anyone can use and modify and all.
After I started writing, I had a very clear mental image of what I wanted Claire to look like, and none of the usual faceclaim sources — actors, models, etc — fit that bill. I very briefly had a notion that Lyndsy Fonseca might work (dark hair, blue eyes, in her thirties), but when I tried to picture her in the story, she wasn't it. Luckily, I discovered Pexels (and Pixabay, and Unsplash :-p), and there I found the perfect Claire.
