Juno, Cordelia Love's fifth album, was released on April 4th, 2023. With no lead-up or promotion for the album, it was a surprise hit due to the fact that it was released on Love and her husband, Kendall Knight's, first wedding anniversary. A return to Love's pop roots, the album was praised for it's consistency and strong writing.

Singles include Juno, Birds of a Feather, and Tears. The music video for Juno was the last to be released, coming out over two years after the album originally dropped. Juno broke the record for most views in one day on Youtube after the final shot revealed that Love was pregnant with the couple's first child.

Introducing: Annabeth Curio

Annabeth Curio was first introduced in DC comics as an intern at the Daily Planet, an opportunity to give Clark Kent someone to mentor outside of his superpowers. She was quickly paired up with Supergirl as both a ‘girl in the chair’, and a romantic interest.

In Smallville she carries the same role, often seen as annoying by Clark who’s trying to keep his secret. Lois Lane takes her under her wing and she becomes a formidable reporter who Kara can’t seem to stay away from

Zack Snyder’s version of the character is debated a lot in fandom spaces. Bethany Curio is a daily planet reporter who stumbles upon a Kryptonian pod and absorbs the DNA left in it, giving her Kryptonian powers. She is then labelled as ‘Supergirl’, causing uproar among comic fans. Some enjoy the changes, expressing their love the idea of a new story, others wanting to see their favourite character as a superhero.

Annabeth wasn’t originally supposed to be in the Arrowverse, but after the pilot for Supergirl was released, fans disliked the overly male energy brought by the obviously planned Love Triangle. ‘Beth Curio’ appeared halfway through the season as a reporter Cat Grant had taken from The Daily Planet and from under Lois Lane. It’s revealed she knows Clark Kent is Superman, and this makes Kara trust her. The series ends with the two married.

James Gunn introduced Annabeth straight off the bat in ‘Superman’, returning to her role as an intern at the daily planet. She has a small screen time but is confirmed to be in Supergirl (2026). James Gunn has assured fans that he wouldn’t want to alter Annabeth and Kara’s relationship, staring ‘they’re a bit like Lois and Clark’.

DAY NINE: Creature Feature | If Abby were turned into a vampire

When a pissed off Rebekah drains Abby of all her blood, she doesn't know that just a day earlier Tyler had given her vampire blood to cure a particularly bad headache. Suddenly Abby is a vampire. Any hopes that she might follow in Caroline's footsteps are squashed when Abby leans into causing problems, seeming to enjoy her new consequence-free existence. Her friends and family try to reason with her but it's difficult when Abby seems to embraces her new identity as a creature of the night and proves hard to find when she isn't causing mayhem. Bonnie is surprised and confused when Abby keeps turning up in her bedroom at night, giving her presents and wanting to talk. Whenever Bonnie tries to ask why or press her on why she's causing havoc, Abby balks and leaves. Tyler is trying his best to be understanding. Certainly he gets the sudden bloodlust and how hard that can be to deal with. He knows his girlfriend can be impulsive and how vampirism can heighten emotions (and behaviors). But it's still annoying that if he wants to talk to Abby, he has to wait for her to climb through his bedroom window. And it's super frustrating that he has to stop her attempts at having sex in order to try and talk sense into Abby which inevitably seem to result in him annoying her, Abby leaving, and there being neither sex nor frank discussion. But when fires continue to flare up in Mystic Falls and surrounding towns and more men are found dead, very obviously drained of blood, Damon and Stefan decide enough is enough and Abby needs to be put down. Bonnie finds herself conflicted yet unwilling to let her friend be killed a second time and teams up with Tyler to save her.

this idea is partially inspired by @littlebvtterfly's Eleanor as a vampire storyline and partially by Vicki's brief stint as a vampire in the show. and the Bonnie/Abby aspect specifically is inspired by the Bonnie/Caroline dynamic in the fabulous fic Taking Me Over Completely by Leia_Naberrie.

Honey Lovelace has always been on the more cutesy spectrum of Halloween costumes. Since her first-ever costume, where she went as a baby mouse to her father's cat, to her latest costume, in which she dressed as Max Caulfield from Life Is Strange, Honey doesn't take Halloween lightly. While her girlfriend Tina Cohen-Chang enjoys going full-out with creepier costumes, Honey goes over-the-top with her cute costumes.

DAY SEVEN: Web of What-Ifs | What if Di met Hope?

The other girl - not a reflection after all - has red hair like hers but her eyes are blue not brown like Di's. "Who are you?" The other girl demands. Di makes a face. "Di. Diana Marshall. Who are you?" "I'm Hope. Mikaelson." The other girl - Hope - seems to wait for a reaction to that. Di doesn't know what to say. She's a Mikaelson. Well, sort of, since her dad is Klaus Mikaelson. But she's never considered herself one. Maybe this girl is some kind of relation. They sort of have a similar sense of style. Maybe that's something that can run in families. Finally the other girl speaks again. "My mom never talked about having siblings. She was adopted. And you look like her." Di considers. "Well, my mom was adopted too but she's an only child. Anyway, I didn't know there were any other Mikaelson children." "Other?" Hope pounces on her words. "So you're Diana Mikaelson, not Diana Marshall." "No." Di says very firmly. "Mama talked to me about changing or hyphenating my name but I've never been Diana Mikaelson and I won't ever be." Hope tilts her head. "I think I know who you are now. You're me. If things were different." She may not have said it first but it elicits no surprise when Hope says this like when someone names something you knew but didn’t have a term for. Di's eyes open wide. "Well, I don't see why I would be you. Why shouldn't you be me?" The other girl puts on an expression that Di can immediately read as mock humble. "Well, I did figure it out first." Di rolls her eyes. "That's a losing argument. Questionable cause." "What?" Hope seems confused by Di herself for the first time and not the puzzle of her presence. "It's an informal fallacy?" Di tries. When the other girl's expression doesn't lift, she gives up. "Never mind. Maybe Aunt Shona has a different job in your uh world? Universe? Whatever it is." Hope frowns deeper. "I don't have an Aunt Shona at all." That struck Di as truly sad somehow. No Aunt Shona meant Hope had likely never spent days and dinners and nights at the McCulloughs’, knee to knee with Wynnie while her aunts and uncles laughed, argued, and talked about everything from magic to tax codes. The McCullough house was Di’s third favorite place in the world. It's Di's turn to frown. "That's weird. Where do you live?" Hope brushes her thumb over the M of her necklace. "In New Orleans. Why, where do you live?" "New Orleans!" Di exclaims. "I've never been. So you live with your dad. I live with my moms in Mystic Falls." "That's where the Salvatore Boarding School is." Hope says. "Sorry, did you say moms? Plural?" "We don't have a boarding school." Di says. "And yeah, I live with both of my moms."

DAY THREE: In the Spotlight | Maia as an influencer

When Maia's friend Toni uploads clips of Maia doing ballet exercises in the quarry on the Southside, neither girl expects anything to come from it. But when well-known beauty blogger and activist Cheryl Bombshell boosts the video, it goes stratospheric. Suddenly hundreds of people are interested in Maia's opinion on things; everything from ballet, which she does feel qualified to talk about, to classical literature, to her favorite makeup brand ("uhhh whatever I find at the drug store usually"). And of course her most avid and obsessive followers are very invested in the mystery of The Guy, who unlike the rest of her friends, never appears face on in any of her photos or videos and may or may not be the same guy as Maia's referenced but never seen boyfriend.
