I usually don’t get involved in this sort of thing much, but apparently I’m supposed to be influential or some such since I run a calendar and wrote a bot and people keep asking me what I think about all this....

My two bits on the whole transfer lock? To quote the warmly familiar words on the cover of a favorite guide of mine... “Don’t Panic”

This is the second time this has happened. If you’re going to check out another server, feel free to do so but just use an alt, save some cash.

It may be a few months before the gates open back up. We’ve got an expansion worth of awesome a solid community that’s past the critical mass of ‘small town syndrome’. There are lots of good people here.

Right now is the time to sit back and see how things shake out.

Relax, grab a drink, go visit the Keeper’s Kiss Cabaret tonight. Chill with some poetry at the Isle of Paradise tomorrow. Maybe duke out the frustrations at the Grindstone on Saturday. Bad comes to worse, Fight the Power over at the Cat’s Meow on Sunday night. If none of that suits your fancy there’s over thirty different RP events to choose from between now and when we crash for the night at the end of the weekend.

It isn’t the end of the world, its just a small holding of our breath.

We exhale later. We inhale again. What comes will come.

Right now just relax and look forward to the expansion.

Hello, me again. So if you use the move option, will you keep all your bells, items, and patterns?

You keep your house, anything in it, your inventory/closet, character, bells and patterns. Anything not on your character/house, not yours (like a villager’s item) or letters still in your mailbox are lost.

Well, Cenarion Circle might as well be a Normal realm for the amount of RPers it has.

SO! I took the jump and the money for doing a realm transfer is going to my Paypal. When it drops, I'll be moving from Cenarion Circle to either Moon Guard or Wyrmrest Accord.

My character is a blood elf, and he is an 85. I am transferring him because I want to RP him. A bunch of you are on Wyrmrest Accord, tell me why I should transfer there, as a Horde only character. How is it different from Moon Guard? Do you RP in a guild, or out in the open or both?
