Sanrio Tamagotchi Characters in 2022 Sanrio Character Ranking Contest
The Sanrio Character Ranking is a Sanrio tradition that dates back to 1986, so this is the 37th year the event is being held. 80 characters have been chose for character ranking out of many Sanrio characters. This years theme is colorful, “smile and make the world more colorful”. You have the opportunity to vote for your favorite Sanrio characters and view their ranking.
Bandai Japan has announced on the official Tamagotchi Twitter account that they have submitted Tamagotchi Sanrio characters who we have not yet met! These are unique Tamagotchis that have a have a cute Sanrio appearance, and Bandai Japan teases that they will be introducing characters who you haven’t seen yet! Bandai Japan has participated in several Sanrio contests before, back in 2017 and 2019 so we know they have a strong relationship.
In the imagine provided above, you can see Milktchi, Mametchi, Kuchpatchi, and Weepetchi in their Sanrio outfits among Sanrio characters.
