Back home, Wilson used to collect all kind of specimens: from taxidermied animals to reptiles in jars, everything was available.On the island it isn’t that easy to collect things like that, so he started to simply draw what he sess, to keep record of the animals, plants and surroundings.

To be honest, there isn’t much to that though. Wilson doesn’t fancy anything exotic and neither would he try something that’s rather unconventional, simply because he’s not interested in that. He’s a bore, really.(You never know what would happen if he’s really drunk of high on opium though …)

Magic. (Nothing new there)If not for some unfortunate happenings after his first (and last) expedition to Canada, he might still have accepted the fact that magic and occultism are things that are real. But this way he despises it, because it pretty much destroyed his academic career in his opinion.
Pride: a headcanon about something your character is a bit cocky about
His work, most likely. Wilson takes a lot of pride in being able to say that he’s able to build fully functional limbs and even artifical eyes, even though he doesn’t boast about it.
