#characters i hate

Requested by @missdrummond, this is my list of AiO characters that I can’t stand.

#1: Sam Johnson. This character is so insufferably bland, annoying, pathetic, useless, unfunny, lame, and is incredibly frustrating with his goodie goodie act that never amounts to anything interesting. Even Isaac Morton has more growth and personality than him. Sam is not a good friend, and is gullible beyond belief. I hate him. The fact that he’s a main character in Darkess Before Dawn makes me sad.

#2: Seth Young. He’s weird and kind of creepy…? I don’t like his evangelizing episodes and cannot believe Mandy and Liz both had a crush on him. He is so not worth it. (Also this has nothing to do with my like or dislike but I imagine him as Wasian? Idk why?)

#3: Hadley Bassett. Hadley makes The Ties that Bind almost impossible for me to listen to. The type of person he is and the things he does to Wooton genuinely trigger me SO much I hate him. I want to physically hurt his face.

#4: Alex Jefferson. NOT THE KID. NOT THE TRAVIS TEDFORD ALEX. The adult youth pastor Alex from Fundamentals. The way he talks to Jimmy is so inappropriate it makes my blood boil. That is NOT how you minister to students. You’re a college-aged kid with a girlfriend who secretly hates you, shut up. Leave my poor baby ALONE.

#5 Derek Barkley. I already made a post about him but I really don’t like that he exists. Donna had several other guys she could have been with, guys she actually INTERACTED WITH on the show, not some rando metalhead weeb. (I’m a metalhead weeb too so I’m not dissing that but SINCE WHEN HAS THAT BEEN HER TYPE?!)

List five (or more) characters that you hate (or give you the Ick as the youngsters says). A character that makes you roll your eyes, annoys you or is simply just like a bad spot in a show that you like, and tell us why - we promise not to judge, even if the reason is very very stupid

Disclaimer: this is my opinion and if you disagree with it, it's completely fine, this is no way a hate towards the fans who like them nor the actors that play them or their creators

1. Anakin Skywalker

I don't care if he is or not the chosen one, i don't care if at the end he did bring balance to the force, he exterminate the only side that kept that balance and made the galaxy the darkest place for his inmaturity and arrogance, he didn't fell because he loved to much, he fell because of his lust for power

2. Padme Amidala

Just like Anakin, lust weight more, she says she loves Anakin and all that, but they don't even know each other, she is in love with the idea of unrequited than an actual relationship. Also answering "it's okay to be angry" to a man saying he just killed women and children because they were less than humans, telling a child murderer to run away with her and their child without faicing consecuences is insane

3. Qui Gon Jinn

Like i said before, i don't care about the prophecy of whatever, he was wrong and Yoda was right, they should have never trained Anakin, he would have been more safe in Tatooine far from Darth Sidious, he should have never become a jedi. (Edit: when i wrote that Anakin was safer in Tatooine I was picturing the scenario of Shmi /and Anakin/ being fred and then leaving at the Lars family farm, not him staying a slave. He would have not fulfil his dreams of greatness but he would have been safe with a "normal routine", a family home and love and far from Sidious)

4. Monica Rambeau

To be fair, when I started Wandavision, I was more invested in this character and really wanted to like it, I thought it was interesting and saw potential but, "they will never know what you sacrifice" is bs to me, yes Wanda chose to let the people go knowing she was erraising her children, but in the first place those people were kidnaped against their will into a magic simulation, and from there the thing with this character is more of the same

5. Wanda Maximoff

Another, I don't fully hate this character, I still see a lot of potential in it and Elizabeth Olsen has done a fine job, but I just can't see any of the things the story is trying to make it clear, let me explain. The story is saying that she's becoming a villain because of the pain she has been through, but even when I KNOW she had been thru, I just can't connect, yes the trauma of war and her parents dead's, her brother and lover, but I just don't feel it and that gives me an ick.

I don't know how to close this post so i hope you find my rant a bit interesting, i don't know who to tag so feel free to make it too you can say i tagged you.

1.Daniel Graystone (Caprica) Main reason is so petty, but I hate his soul patch. Hate it. I imagine it looks good on some people, but not him. Also he made his wife's suicide attempt about himself and made a virtual reality version of her to make himself feel better after that!!! And he got a shocked pikachu face when he realized the people he had murdered were, you know, people.

No gifs and most pictures where you can see the soul patch are pixelated as hell. I'm okay with that.

2. Lucius Vorenus (Rome) I just hated him. At first, I thought he was okay, but nah. Arrogant selfish guy that centered everything on "mine mine mine" and "me me me". Man didn't deserve his "redemption". (I hated like. All the men in Rome)

3. Daniel Jackson (Stargate SG-1) Because of the way he treats women, mostly. And I kind of hate him because of how I've been treated in fandom spaces for not liking him.

4. Henry Mills (Once Upon a Time) First times I watched Once Upon a Time, he was fine. Rewatching it with my mom after we'd already watched it together? Realized how bad Henry was! He manipulated all the parents in his life so hard, flipping on Emma and Regina whenever it was convenient. He pretty stupid, to be honest.

5. Jon Snow (Game of Thrones) I only watched one season of Game of Thrones, but I read the books and I skipped his chapters on rereads. And then he just....gets absolved of everything he does, goes back to where he started and it a Targaryen for no reason? Uh-uh.

BONUS:

6. Nick Amaro (Law & Order: SVU) His anger issues, how he treated his wife, and hints at times that victims were at fault. Ick.

7. Octavian (Rome) He's creepy and ick.

This motherfucker (Uncle from Papers Please) has to be my least favorite character in a video game. Here I am, a border guard in a dystopian regime having to drudge out in the fucking cold every damn day, spending nearly all my money on HIS fucking rations and heating. My son is made of glass bones and paper skin so he gets sick if he misses a single meal, so his constant medical bills also fucking murder me. And this maggot decides that, for some reason, I'm an appropriate target of his leaching.

My wife I understand her not working. Arstotzka is a dystopian regime based off the Warsaw Pact. Women's rights in those regimes ranged from getting a free STEM degree and being next to property, and given that unemployment and xenophobia are so rampant I'm going to assume the latter.

Mother-in-law not wokring is also fine with me. She's a woman, so above issue, and she's also old. Old people have problems working.

My son and optionally my niece, also fine with them not working. They're kids.

But this man? This couch ornament? This ration vampire? His ass is grass in my book. He doesn't even put the damn effort in. He never says "looking for a job, shit's tough" that'd be okay with me. Failing that he could at least attempt selling something illegally or even sucking dick for money. Something. Instead this bum-ass-loser just hangs around, pestering me and relying on my eternal charity. My son's medical bills are putting us outta home, and he's just a glorified hobo watching it happen without helping. He won't even make a "will work for food" sign to save me the odd fiver. Worst part is that he's the most resilient member of the family, being able to go the longest without food, heat, or medicine when he's sick. He could totally go without eating for a couple days, he's just feeding like a parasite for the love of screwing me over it seems. Fuck him for eternity. His Grandpa Joe ass has always been the most treacherous parasite in the game.
