May I ask a certain question Chekov? I wanna know if it will be okay to ask something like "with lapis going back to her home world, do you think she might inform Pink diamond and cause an Earth invasion or something?". I'm wondering if that's bordering on the Saphire and choose adventure territory.

that’s fine! Those types of questions are perfect, actually, because they follow the line of reasoning that Steven might have with the current knowledge he has! He knows Pink Diamond EXISTS, and he assumes she is on Homeworld, so that would be in line with the narrative.

If you notice, most of the examples I gave for ‘don’t be a sapphire’ include revelations that the characters HAVEN’T had yet. Things like the fact that Steven is half human, the whole pink diamond history, etc.
