Didnt know what Marie fact I should give tonight (feel free to ask or suggest things) but this is more of a head canon based on some historical evidence. So without further ado, how Marie interacted with her family.
Mama Theresa:
Very loving but strained relationship. Marie loves her mother but Maria is a perfectionist and overly critical. Maria also loves her but is old fashioned and strives for perfection. Marie feels like there are a lot of expectations for her to meet and shes trying her best to appease everyone, her mother’s energy sometimes is a bit too excessive.
Francis:
There is literally nothing on Francis and Marie and it kinda makes sense. He died when she was 10 and Austrian royals werent close to their children. He just also on top of that didnt seem like a family man or invested in his children. Pretty absentee parent, and I dont think Marie would like him or look up to him all that much. She felt strongly about adulterers so cant see them getting along.
Maria Anna:
Her oldest sister, with who she shared a lover for music with. They could relate to how much their mom yells at them.
Joseph:
He was def an overprotective brother over her. He protect his baby sister if its the last thing he could do. He also liked music a lot so they’d get along over that.
Maria Christina:
Even though the are the two who I think are most similar they dont get along @ all. Christina is the good two shoes of the group and anytime Marie would complain abt something their mother said shed get upset.
Maria Elisabeth:
Also a pretty distant sister. No really strong feelings. They dont have much in common and Antoinette is the baby so Elisabeth is just, respectfully nice.
Charles Joseph:
Died when she was really small but regardless not close @ all because Charles disliked her favorite big brother Joseph.
Maria Amalia:
Other than Caroline, Amalia is her absolute favorite sister. They’d write letters gossiping about little things. Amalia oils prolly rant about their mother to Antoinette who would attentively listen.
Leopold:
No strong feelings on his sister, she’s just there and another responsibility to take care of. Does not like her all too much but will kinda try to protect her because if he falls so does the family.
Maria Johanna:
Also died when Marie was very young but I can see them getting along. Playing instruments together perhaps, singing, stuff like that.
Maria Josepha:
Also died when Marie was young but I can see Antonia parading around as her mini me. There is a painting thats Josepha’s that had been falsely attributed to Marie.
Maria Carolina:
Her ABSOLUTE best friend. They did everything together, Marie adored Carolina and the same goes the other way around. Carolina, like Joseph wants to protect Marie no matter what and is heartbroken about everything.
Ferdinand:
Ferdinand wouldnt have had been close to Antoinette but still did love his baby sister. A very distant love.
Maximilian Francis:
Very close with his elder sister. He also was a patron of music and the arts and visited French court. They def had tea parties and other stupid stuff

My son is now 6 weeks old. 💙
If he hadn’t needed to arrive early for his own safety, today (December 7th) is the day my physician had said to expect Charlie to be born.
Charles Joseph Anderson was born via cesarean surgery at 12:36pm on October 26th, 2018. He weighs 4lbs 8oz and has a gestational age of 34 weeks.
He’s absolutely beautiful, and has a ton of brown hair. He’ll need a little help eating and getting adequate oxygen for a bit, but should be able to join us at home within several weeks.
We couldn’t possibly be more in love with him.
