Hi I just got to watch the '95 version of Persuasion for the first time ever (I know wth it took me so long) and MY GOD. I'm gonna make a shit ton of sets for it once I get my hands on the 1080p version. Also can I just say the way they did the letter scene is THE. BEST. version (even tho we only have 3) I've seen. My GOD, having both characters narrate the letter and the words parallel and crash into each other was like the movie's way of inserting a sex scene and I'm DYING. I WAS SCREAMING.

Honestly that letter is the only voiceover I will accept because at least they make it interesting. Persuasion is the most physical novel in the canon and you’re entirely right, that letter is Wentworth ripping open the white linen shirt of his emotions so Anne can be his pleasure or his pain and either way put an end to his uncertainty.

In answer to your question about Curator getting mad, if you and your partner don't work together and make separate decisions, THAT happens. You're essentially wasting his time since all he wants is for you to get to Andrew's/the bus driver's soul 😂😂

It is very heavily implied that The Curator is Death. At this point it's pretty obvious. The question now is why are you there and why is he talking with you. The designers of the game mentioned in the making of that you were given to him suddenly as someone to talk to and even he has no idea why. Also its implied there's something more to it with him just simply being Death. They're gonna keep doing these explorations until the last game which is DOPE

So it's not just a game mechanic? This is super interesting! I wonder if we, the player, are there for a reason. Are we... dead? Is he telling us those stories before we go to the 'afterlife'? Are they connected by something more or is the player the connection? As he always talks to us about important decisions, I wonder if we kind of change the universe the stories are set in and if this will maybe have an impact somehow in the last game.

I am really intrigued where this will lead us now!

To answer your tag, Regis's facial features are heavily influenced by that Star Wars character's actor (Peter Cushing). They they even have similar hairlines, are incredibly nice, and both have English accents! Lots of Regis fans face claim Peter for Regis as well because its just pitch perfect!
