Seriously, though, how can anyone not love this guy?  38 years old, been a back up quarterback for about a decade, and still cares THIS MUCH about one win!  Yeah, it was a big win in a hostile environment one week after a meltdown by the entire team, but I swear, I saw that field goal go through and I was cheering my head off until the cameras switched to my favorite back up's reaction, and suddenly I felt all choked up.

I love you, man!  Charlie Batch, I know you won't be entering the Hall of Fame or anything like that, but I've said it for years now and I'll say it again - you are the best, most dependable back up in the entire NFL, and it's been an honor to watch you step up and play every time you've had to!  I've never once worried about poor play from you while you were on the field, and if this was truly to be your last career start, then what a way to go, man!  What a way to go! <3

I sure hope to see this guy as maybe a quarterback's coach or something somewhere down the line, because we need players and coaches like this guy in the league (don't believe me? just do a quick google search for all his off the field work!).
