it’s not as if charlie does what he does for fun, he’s not that out of it. it’s just that some people in the world need to be taken out of the picture and if no one else is willing to do it, then he is. it’s not all off his own volition either — the organization that he works alongside as opposed to for have been the one giving him hints on his next target for a while now. due to the lack of pattern, aside from his signature kills, he imagines that it’s pretty hard on the authorities trying to track him. good. he wasn’t really planning on getting involved with anyone but when they came into the picture he couldn’t stop himself, the danger of excited him in a way he hadn’t felt for a while now. it was almost too easy to play the role of doting boyfriend. “you look like you’re thinking hard about something,” he murmured as he sat down beside them, his offering being a warm cup of coffee. “what’s up?”
