He has never known Finn to be quick as their quickest were more like most people’s normal sex lives. The young man laughed a little more wondering how he did it yet also did not want to know. It was certainly not something he was going to be able to research, he assumed, but for Rico he was down to try anything and everything. "You're not trying to figure out my weaknesses, right?" he teased with cocked brows, a hint of an amused smile tugging at the corners of his lips as he eyed Rico. He let out a soft 'tch' and spoke again after a moment, this time more genuinely. "We still have our enhanced senses - smell, sight, and hearing. We're also quick to heal and have superhuman strength and endurance, although those last two are less so in our human forms." Paul paused momentarily, then added, "We won't age as long as we're phasing, either, but that picks up again once we stop shifting."

Damon focused on the book, keeping it safe within his custody. After stealing it from the Originals, he had laid low and tried to get Bonnie to look at it. However, she took one glance and refused to partake in whatever plan Damon had come up with. To soothe Damon's incessant want to bring back his brother, she did end up casting something to slow down the speed of decay. It was a morbid, but welcomed tactic considering Damon was not ready to let Stefan go.

However, he couldn't just twiddle his thumbs any longer. He was becoming desperate, even considering to make reckless deals with people he had no familiarity with. So when he finally felt his research led him to an interesting character, he was passing the line of caution.

Word from the grapevine warned him that this man was a powerful being, someone who had lived longer than Damon could imagine. Getting him to strike a deal would prove to be a challenge, but Damon had nothing else he could possibly do and no other avenue to turn to.

Looking around the property, he was hesitant. Would he know of Damon already? Had seen this coming? Feeling a spike of confidence, he lifted his hand and knocked on the door.
