Charlie: Because you secretly have a sense of humor.

Charlie hasn’t been out main fronting for long amounts of time for a while, but when he and Jean started dating we noticed that he’d matured a great deal in the intervening time. We assumed it was him just catching up to the body’s age, but he’s been working on a gifset today (that was always HIS thing) and it’s Pogo’s video to go with his remix Data and Picard, and we realized. Charlie always admired Jean Luc Picard; well, he’s actually INCORPORATED aspects of him into his personality.

But in a way that’s consistent with who he already was, just a much cooler, less self centered version of it. It’s pretty awesome.
