In this plain looking building in London is a wonderful, sunny, flat. You just can’t judge some homes by the outside.
The lovely entrance hall leads into the dining room.
Isn’t this lovely? I’ve never seen a skirt on the bottom of a cabinet- love that idea. The dining room is central to the home and all rooms are accessed from it.
The one bedroom apt. in this historic Swedish building, built between 1903 - 1904 is full of charm.
There’s an entrance hall where they’ve placed an area for coats, boots, etc. against a backdrop of vintage style wallpaper.
The kitchen was remodeled, so to tie in the vintage decor they hung a lace valance across it.
The main room is a kitchen/living room combo.
They’ve created a cozy room. The original lighting fixture remains on the ceiling, and a bonus deck is just outside.
Lovely outdoor space.
The bedroom has the most intriguing bed- look at the little nooks and shelves. There’s even a little cup & book holder. How unique. Oriental themed panels make a nice mural to hide storage.
The room gets a lot of light and has a lovely matching vintage armoire.
This tiny room is used as a home office and place to practice music.
Modern tiled shower.
Even though the street is nothing but apt. buildings in a row, the structures are largely historic and picturesque.
