Okay, so..! I honestly wasn’t sure how popular this opinion would be or if I would explain it right, but..

I know some people enjoyed presuming that something happened after the party that we didn’t see on screen, or that maybe Wille was shyly glancing because he was hoping for something to happen or just being attracted to Simon, but I don’t think that at all. Well, not completely at least.

I saw a boy who literally found his first friend, and just in general, a genuine person who didn’t put him on a pedestal or treated him as the Prince—someone he’s started to feel okay to be himself around without judgement. And now he’s getting all this (unwanted) attention from these ridiculous boys who have been chanting his name, wanting to stand him up on the table to hear about his sexual exploits!

I think he’s embarrassed and frankly probably quite worried about what Simon is thinking of him (like, not in a romantic way, but in a “gee I just found a friend I hope this doesn’t make him think I’m weird or stop hanging out with me because of this” sorta way)

And I think at this point Wille has developed an interest and a familiarity with Simon, which is obviously where his feelings stem from, but I don’t necessarily think it was romantic at this stage yet…
