Originally when she saw {Name} using his magic for the first time, she believed in the possibility that he could have been a celestial wizard but didn't see a key... nor has she ever seen a spirit quite like the one he was fighting alongside.

🗝 Of course, even after discovering that it wasn't celestial spirit magic she was still impressed with just how much he could do with his magic. In some aspects it reminded her of Cana as well due to using the cards to fight.

🗝 {Name's} abilities were so versatile and perfect for both offense and defense, easily being able to alternate his strategies depending on the situation. Especially during fights he would go on the attack but keep a close eye on Lucy ready to defend at any moment he needed.

🗝 A lot of the mystery and confusion has been cleared up for Lucy, since being with {Name} she has gotten to see the various skills and abilities of his magic. Even though she still doesn't understand its entirety, as it is with all kinds of magic - there is always more to learn and even greater feats to achieve through discovery.

🗝 Their combined efforts during an attack make them a truly formidable team to fight against any enemy. Due to their own skill sets and experiences being able to work together flawlessly adds a very unique edge that covers any downfall they may have.

🗝 Lucy once accidentally hurt {Name's} feelings by nonchalantly passing the comment about him having something called the "Joker" even though his jokes weren't that funny.

🍰 Truthfully assumed that {Name's} magic bore a resemblance to her own requip magic. Especially when she saw him don a mask, cape and suddenly was seen wielding a sycthe. Skillfully so in the way he handled himself, but there was far more to his magic that she realized.

🍰 Besides considering it to be similar to her own, Erza was really impressed by the way {Name} was able to handle himself but still had many questions as to the full extent of his magical capabilities.

🍰 {Name} tends to focus on his own fights, allowing Erza to focus on hers. Of course, he would never allow outside interference and often times plays both support and defense so Erza can give all her attention to the opponent at hand.

🍰 Understands the complexity and variety of {Name's} magic much better than she initially did and finds it to be super useful in every situation. The incredibly adaptable nature of it as well as {Name's} savvy and skill in using it, always impresses Erza.

🍰 Due to their individual reputations of being very proficient and powerful fighters, no one wants to be caught dead as their opponent... especially not when they are working together - as it is a brutal and continuous onslaught of raw power that can easily topple even the most powerful of enemies.

🍰 Erza and {Name} have found something of a fatal flaw... they are completely unable to train with one another, seeing how unconsciously they cannot fight at full strength and really do pull their punches to a dramatic extent
