On the sixth day of our Kazakhstan trip, my mom and I traveled from Saty Village to Charyn Canyon National Park.
Along the way, we stopped at Black Canyon and Moon Canyon, each offering its own unique landscape and atmosphere, making the journey feel varied and interesting.
Before entering the park, our local guide suggested that we buy some food, as there are no shops inside. We picked up two sets of roasted horse meat with potatoes, along with bread and water to bring with us.
At Charyn Canyon, we followed the trail and took our time exploring the canyon. The scenery has its own distinctive beauty, and the vast landscape feels both powerful and peaceful at the same time. The sunlight can be quite strong, but it is absolutely a place worth visiting at least once in a lifetime, especially in winter when the cooler air makes the walk more comfortable.

After finishing our visit, we headed back to the city, bringing our trip to a beautiful close. We stayed at Regardal Hotel, which has a very convenient location, just about 700 meters from the tour drop off point, making it easy to walk back.
Note: My lovely mom was the one who chose and booked this hotel after I told her where the tour would drop us off. It turned out to be such a perfect choice.
