I think Henrik and Chase are gay for each other and I have no evidence for this at all I just know it in my bones.

THINK ABOUT IT THO. They've been best friends since college, they've been at each other's sides as "friends" since as long as either of them can remember, they haven't even confessed to each other by the time they've both decided that they need the other in their lives. Both of them feel slightly too scared to confess because they both are extremely new to this (Chase being someone who's never been in a proper relationship with another guy, only realising he liked men while he was still married to Stacy (she was super accepting and amazing about it tho dw))

And Henrik never properly dating anyone before (he's been in relationships, but his Demi-Romantic ass only got with them because felt like it's what he's supposed to do no matter what)

They're both going through the horrors with Anti right now and initially it separates them, neither of them wanting to hurt the other somehow. Only realising that isolation obviously makes the whole situation worse and deciding that they never will leave each other behind ever again. (Insert kiss scene here)

Also side note, Henrik wordlessly just took in Sammy (Chase's child) after Anti attacked them and Chase basically went missing. So Sammy already views Henrik as their second dad.

Also also. Second side note. Their first kiss was actually during their college/university years where they were both drunk and kissed because true feelings get revealed under liquid courage and all that jazz (Yes Chase full on made out with his best friend and still took him like 10 years to figure out he was bisexual. The man is a dumbass /lh)

Stacy Brody haunts the narrative, in my opinion at least. She isn't present for most of what we see as Chases story, her death/her general absence plays a huge part in how everything unfolds for Chase, and theres always something emphasizing that she's not around when it comes to Chase, yknow?

Ie "Where is she buried?" 👀

I can probably find more examples but I think thats what haunting the narrative means?
