and also this summer ive been like. doing shit that i wouldnt normally do? shit that scares me, i guess. whenever i make a decision now i ask myself "ok, do you not wanna do this because its genuinely not your thing, or are you just afraid of doing it?" and 9 times outta 10, its the latter. so most of the time, i do the thing. and its fucking incredible.

a lot of the time its just little things, like opening the door to one of amsterdam's pop up urinals because my friends were curious but didnt have the guts to cross the street and check (it was gross, but everyone laughed and some tourists thanked me for checking because they were curious, too, so i consider it a win)

i talk to strangers now - not in like a dangerous way, but i ask them for directions and tell them their bag is really cool; that kind of thing

most recently (last night lol) i was telling my friends how ive always kinda wanted to dye my hair, and they said "why don't you?" and i said "you know what? thats a damn good question" and its because ive been afraid!! but i did it!! and its been great!! super weird to get used to, but its just hair. it grows back, so whats the harm?
