CHASE AT COWES WEEK 2016

Last week James, Sophie, Iona and Larissa set off to Isle of Wight to celebrate the annual regatta, Cowes Week.

We are delighted to say that the regatta was a great success. Whilst soaking up the glorious sunshine, people enjoyed our refreshing GB&Ts by the harbour, served from our very own tender.

We also ventured out onto the sea to hand out Chase goodie bags which went down a treat! Here are some snaps to give you a sneak peak of how much fun Cowes Week is. We hope to see you again next year, fingers crossed for more fantastic weather.

COURTSIDE

1 Fresh Strawberry

3 Fresh Raspberries

12.5ml Chase Elderflower Liqueur

37.5ml Cloudy Apple Juice

37.5ml Chase Vodka

12.5ml Fresh Lime Juice

12.5ml Sugar Syrup

Soda Top

Method: Add fruit to the bottom of a shaker and Muddle until broken down, add all other ingredients except soda, and SHAKE with cubed ice. Double strain into a tall glass over cubed/crushed ice. Top with soda.

Garnish: Fresh seasonal fruit and serve with straws.

The perfect tipple to enjoy the finals with this weekend, because it wouldn’t be Wimbledon without a drink in hand!

Apple & Rosemary Fizz

50ml Chase Vodka

37.5ml Cloudy apple juice

12.5ml Rosemary sugar syrup (instructions below)

12.5ml Fresh lime juice

Willy’s Cider top

Making the syrup- mix sugar and water on a gentle heat in a 1.5:1 ratio, add fresh rosemary sprigs and simmer gently over a low heat for 10 minutes. Reduce syrup and leave to cool.

Method: BUILD all ingredients to a tall glass over cubed/crushed ice. Briefly stir.

Garnish: Fresh Rosemary Sprig and lime wheel. Serve with straws.

The perfect tipple to toast the patron saint of England this St George's Day!

Royal Tea

40ml Chase Vodka

10ml Chase Elderflower Liqueur

2x1cm cubes ginger root

10ml honey

20ml fresh lemon juice

37.5ml strongly brewed Earl Grey Tea

Method: SHAKE all ingredients with cubed ice, double strain into a tea pot (recipe makes enough for a single serve). Pour out into tea cups and serve. Garnish with a white rose.

POTATO HARVEST 2014
