Chasewave minis for the day
So I just finished watching Transformers: Rescue Bots, and here are my thoughts:
Yes, I’ve watched some episodes as kid. Yes, I wanted to rewatch it to relive good memories. Yes, I love the Bots. My favorites are all of them, but Heatwave is my most favorite. My favorites Burns Family member(s) are Dani and Graham. Yes, I ship Heatwave and Chase. Yes, I hate Morocco so much, I wanna pop him like a zit. Yes, I love QuickShadow and Hightide. I don’t know if I have a favorite episode. No, I don’t think it’s childish. Yes, I find Kade annoying. Yes, I loved how Optimus Prime and Bumblebee made appearances. Yes, I love every funny moment they gave. Yes, Blurr is also annoying, but he has his moments. Yes, I think the Pynches are also annoying. Yes, I love their Dino-Bot modes, they’re badass. And through it all, yes, I love the show so much and it’s worth it
When watching Transformers Rescue Bots and Rescue Bots Academy, I had this thought:
I like to imagine Hot Shot as Heatwave and Chase's son.
And I imagined this being a common conversation between Chase and Heatwave:
Heatwave: Where does Hot Shot get that attitude from? Chase: You.
Is this random? Yes. Does it make sense? No. Do I care? No.
That's all I wanted to share.

Expanding on this post here, but with Chasewave, imagine if when possible Heatwave steps in the way of Chase during mud and paint splashes (or whatever else that could mar his paintjob) and full body blocks it.
You’d expect it the other way around, wouldn’t you? From someone like Chase who prioritises their leader and respects them thusly, to then assure their safety and cleanliness. But no – Hestwave thinks Chase has been dutiful enough, and deserves some spoiling compensation.
