Drewbert was super done with the tiny invader last night and wanted nothing to do with her. But this is video was taken this morning. Look, they’re playing! We have to monitor play right now because he’s so much bigger than her. Luckily, he’s such a gentle, good boy and he is holding back. He’s coming around to her slowly, but can still only handle her for short amounts of time. Small steps! #Drewbert #Chasebert #ItsMonaTime #corgi

BOOM. PUPPY TAKEDOWN! Don't worry, no puppies were harmed during this perfectly executed maneuver. It's just great to see the tenacious corgi herding instinct even in such a smol pupper. And it gets funnier the more I watch it. Also, I can't speak highly enough of attending supervised puppy playtimes/meetups. If you have a new puppy, search for them near your area (specifically ones that are hosted by obedience/training schools). Some will offer puppy playtime sessions that are supervised by a trainer and they monitor play and help step in when play gets too rowdy.
